The Dart inshore lifeboat was tasked to search the foreshore between the Higher Ferry and Coombe Point for a person who had been missing since the previous evening. The casualty was found ashore by the Dartmouth Coastguard volunteer Search and Rescue team and the lifeboat was stood down. As the crew returned they monitored an alarm call set off by a Personal Locator Beacon and the bearing suggested that it had come from a house near Warfleet creek.
