Two paramedics attended a young lady who had injured her ankle near the Greenway Boathouse. They gave her pain relief. Due to the difficulties in transferring her  on land the Coastguard tasked the RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat to take her and her parents to a waiting ambulance at the Higher ferry slip and the Berry Head Coastguard team to assist in transferring her to the lifeboat as it was low tide. This was the first call out of the new RNLI Dart D class lifeboat D-838.
