The girl-friend of the owner of a 16ft motorboat reported to the Coastguard that he had told her that he had dropped his keys overboard and she could not subsequently get back to him. The boat had drifted into a line of moorings at the head of Old Mill Creek. The lifeboat crew attached the boat to a mooring and brought the owner back to the lifeboat station. Lifeboat crew. Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
