Location: Dartmouth harbour. Visitor's pontoon opposite to the Double steps.

A member of the crew of yacht Marquis had slipped whilst preparing the yacht for departure from Dartmouth and struck his head against a winch. The lifeboat transferred the casualty to an ambulance on the Kingswear Lower Ferry slip and he was taken to Torbay Hospital for observation. The crew of the lifeboat were helmsman Tony Chapman, with Haydn Glanvill and Yorkie Lomas.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
