33ft yacht with five onboard developed engine failure

The lifeboat was tasked to a 33' yacht by Falmouth Coastguard at 0516. The Yacht from Poole, with five crew on board, suffered engine failure near Check Stone. When the lifeboat arrived at the scene Chris Rampling boarded the vessel and attached a tow line. The yacht was towed into Dart Haven Marina by the lifeboat and safely moored.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
