Casualty with fractured ankle at Greenway

The Coastguard requested that the ILB transfer a 73 year old lady holidaymaker with a fractured right ankle to an ambulance. She had fallen close to the Greenway Boathouse and Paramedics had strapped her fractured leg and placed her on a stretcher. The lifeboat crew transferred her to the waiting ambulance on Greenway Quay.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
