Assisted motor cruiser adrift at Stoke Gabriel.

Location: River Dart, off Stoke Gabriel.

A 16 foot motor cruiser with two adults on board, on passage from Totnes, lost power in both engines and requested help from the Coastguard. The vessel was easily identified, adrift off Stoke Gabriel, and was towed to Dittisham where contact was made with the shore based CG team.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
