Asked to investigate dinghy near Sharpham

Location: Opposite Sharpham Boathouse, River Dart

A member of the public reported to the Coastguard that 2 men and a woman might be in need of assistance in a 10 foot pram dinghy near Sharpham. The Coastguard requested the ILB to investigate. The boat was found beached opposite the Sharpham Boathouse. They were grateful that the lifeboat had come but felt able to return to Totnes unaided.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
