44ft yacht with engine failure towed to her mooring

Whilst afloat following a SAR demo as part of Dartmouth Regatta, Dart Harbour requested our assistance with towing a 40ft yacht with engine failure due to them having to deal with a high number of broken down boats at one time. Dart Lifeboat established a tow and placed the vessel back on her mooring on the Kingswear trots.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
