The Falmouth Coastguard tasked the RNLI Dart D class inshore lifeboat to the aid of a 31 foot motor cruiser with three on board that had lost the drive connection from its engine some three miles south west of Dartmouth. In the fair sea conditions the crew were able to tow the boat back to its mooring in Dartmouth.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
