30 ft yacht with engine problem towed to harbour

Whilst on exercise the lifeboat crew came across a 30ft yacht with 3 adults on board being towed back to harbour with some difficulty by a small motor boat. The RNLI crew took over the tow and returned the yacht to her berth on a pontoon in the harbour. Lifeboat crew: Buster Hart, helm with Kevin Murphy and Ewen Menzies crew. Shore crew: Mark Strudwick assisted by Jerry Gilby and Kevin John

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
