The Coastguard tasked Dart inshore lifeboat and the Salcombe Tamar Lifeboat to the boat with 3 adults on board near the Skerries in failing light. The engine problem was intermittent and the boat managed to reach the mouth of the Dart where it was met by the Dart crew. The lifeboat escorted them to a safe berth at the Noss marina.
